UCLA Health: TeamLA


Smarter Creative rallies everyone to the cause with #TeamLA for UCLA Health.

UCLA Health’s mission is to heal humankind, one patient at a time. So when COVID-19 turned the world on its head spreading fear and anxiety we knew we had to act.

Even if UCLA Health couldn’t offer up a cure, we could bring reassurance and confidence in the face of this pandemic. So we immediately started work on a campaign to fit the challenge.

Our response was a dynamic creative platform developed in less than 36 hours: #TeamLA. It was a way for all of Los Angeles to rally together and support each other in the fight against this pandemic. 

#TeamLA put UCLA Health and regular citizens on equal footing while allowing UCLA Health to lead with experience and expertise. 

With creative teams scattered across North America we developed 18 different TV commercials in less than 8 weeks. We pulled in celebrities from Kim Kardashian to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to help our cause. We plastered billboards with messages of compassion and reassurance. 

Because, we all play for #TeamLA.
